Katy Custom Finishes is not a big shop located in “Houston”.  We are however large enough to handle complete restoration projects with room to spare to work in small jobs while waiting on parts.  Building on land we already owned in the steadily growing, yet rural, Katy, Texas allows our overhead to stay low. These savings are directly passed on to you through our low hourly rates and negations on insurance deductibles.  
We pride ourselves on the work we turn out.  In this industry reputation matters, “Our Reputation Depends on You.”  We encourage you to look around and ask questions, do your homework.

I opened Katy Custom Finishes in 1999, while working full time as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic.  Our main business at that time was custom paint and restorations for the local area car and motorcycle enthusiasts. Auto Restoration is a passion of mine and very satisfying. There’s nothing more rewarding than starting with what seems to be a tired worn out pile of metal and watching it transform into a rolling magnificent eye catching work of art.

Shortly after I opened Katy Custom Finishes, it became apparent that it was necessary to bring in insurance work and new model repairs in order to keep a constant flow of business.  We have since moved forward and broadened our customer base to include collision and insurance repairs.
